New cubs born into the European breeding programme

Paignton Zoo is celebrating the birth of two cubs - one male and one female - on 3rd October 2003. The cubs are both doing fine and have full access to their dens and the paddock. You can find more information and pictures of the cubs on the Paignton Zoo website.

Parken Zoo is also celebrating the birth of two cubs - again one male and one female - on 15th December 2003. The birth of the cubs is a great success following the arrival of a new adult male lion last year. More information is available on the Parken Zoo website.
